Versions are labeled with the year of the release and a letter designation indicating the quarter (e.g. 2008D). Each release contains all ZIP Code additions, changes and deletions to the ZIP Code map layer since our last release. As you know, the ZIP Code file changes constantly and we issue quarterly for those users that need to keep current with the latest changes.
